TurningPoint Energy (TPE) is a clean energy development, advisory and investment company with solar development projects underway throughout the United States. Our principals have experience developing solar projects for community solar and utility clients totaling more than $3 billion in value over 2GW of the operating solar power plants throughout the United States.

Formed in 2014, TPE created a sustainable approach to navigate the evolution of community solar programs and regulations by building a team of business development, real estate, engineering, and finance experts in large-scale solar project development, sourcing the most qualified project partners and consultants, all while maintaining an overarching commitment to positively impact every community that hosts its projects.

TPE views three sets of services as core to our mission: development, advisory and investment. Since 2017, TPE has focused these services on the expanding community solar market in states including Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Mexico, Texas, and Rhode Island. TPE’s development and investment portfolio now includes over 500MW of solar projects in construction or operation, with more than 1GW of additional solar projects under development.

Our team is committed to providing meaningful community solar projects for energy consumers. TPE is a triple bottom line company: we believe that our business should create financial, environmental, and community value in every project we create. Our intent is to be long-term members of the communities where our projects are developed. As part of our project development process, TPE donates to local charities and/or non-profits that support those in need.
