Tom Bullock has served as executive director of the Citizens Utility Board of Ohio since its founding and leads its efforts to advocate, in an era of rapid energy industry change, for innovation that benefits residential and small-business utility consumers. He seeks to work as a thought-leader, convener, consensus-developer, and catalyst for innovation while operating in a flexible, bipartisan, and pragmatic manner.
Bullock is a veteran legislative and elections professional with more than twenty-five years’ experience in policy, public relations, organizing, and community leadership. Bullock has practical experience from work with top government leaders in Ohio and Washington, D.C., including work on Capitol Hill as a congressional aide. He has served more than eighteen years as a city councilman in his hometown of Lakewood and is board president for Clean Fuels Ohio. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from American University and an M.A. in Classics from the University of London.
