Anabel Sanford brings more than 20 years of experience in mass/cultural communication to the Renewable Energy industry, where she has led stakeholder engagement for solar, energy storage, and data center development across MISO, SPP and ERCOT markets.
As Renewable Energy Business Lead at Emmons & Olivier Resources, Inc. (EOR), she provides clients with communications and project management expertise throughout the environmental due diligence, land use permitting/approval, and civil design phases of community and utility-scale solar projects.
A valued member of EOR’s marketing team, Anabel leads digital outreach and guides market development across EOR’s multi-disciplinary sectors in Water (Watersheds & Water Resources) + Ecology (Ecosystems & Natural Resources) + Community (Civil Engineering & Landscape Architecture).
Anabel is a Director on the Board of the Minnesota Solar Energy Industries Association (MnSIEA) and the Minnesota Ground Water Association Foundation. She is an active member of Women in Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy (WRISE), providing planning support for the WRISE National Leadership Forum (2023, 2024). Anabel holds an MS in Intercultural Communication from the University of Pennsylvania, and a BA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
