This 1-hour course introduces the fundamental components and aspects of energy storage systems (ESS) and solar plus storage (SPS) systems. Participants will explore different aspects of varying forms of energy storage, the history of energy storage, reasons to incorporate energy storage, motivations to add solar PV to an ESS, and the difference between stand-alone and utility interactive SPS systems.
